No12. "Buns of steel" (Level 1) Beginners

A 60 minute level 1 beginner, active practice. It will require some moderate effort. It focuses on engagement of the outer hip and glutes, hamstring lengthening, adductor lengthening and balance. Key poses are triangle, half moon, wide leg standing forward fold. Some neck, wrist and chest stretches make this a whole-body, comprehensive practice.

You will need a Yoga mat, bricks and a belt.

This practice may contain some poses that are not suitable for pregnant women.

Everyone has to start their Yoga practice somewhere. Level 1 beginners classes are the perfect place. Remember to do what you can and rest when you need to.
